Chocolate Chip Cookies

If a little child is crying, cookies is one of the ways to make it stop crying... haha. I think most people can't resist cookies. They can eat it anytime of the day. In the morning for breakfast, snacks, quick lunch or even just before bedtime. Cookies with warm milk... Yum yum!!! Doesn't that soothes your tummy. But that of course not in terms of calories wise. Cookies with milk just before bedtime is bad... Real bad!!!

Doink loves cookies very much but he is very picky with it. He only likes certain kinds of cookies and if he does like one, he will eat non-stop like an eating machine. hehe... I finally managed to find a recipe that suits his and my taste buds. It just tasted exactly the way we wanted. Yummy!!! It taste equally good if you dip it into milk. I like to dip cookies in warm milk but Doink likes it cold.

I usually will start baking cookies when I feel that he wants something to munch in the office. These cookies will not last long as he takes 7-8 cookies at one go. So I dare not bake too much as I'm worried about his health if he eats too many cookies.

I also finally managed to make my cookies chewy. When I went over to UK, I got a chance to taste an awesome cookie, a chewy chocolate cookie. It's chewy and it sorts of melt in your mouth. Mmmm..... just so yummylicious....

Ever since I came back from UK, I was craving for this amazing cookie. But I couldn't find it anywhere here. I tried baking it several times with different recipes, but I just couldn't find the right taste and the right texture. And finally at last, I managed to bake it and all my sweet memories with Doink came back. Wow, it's just so awesome. I used the same recipe as baking the above cookies but I just bake less few minutes. Anyway, Doink likes my cookies crunchy.

Now, I'm gonna grab these cookie monsters and dunk in milk!!! Mmmmm...... Naughty little me... *grin*
